Ambience

The challenge

Many elderly need to be hospitalized or in a nursing home because there is no in between solution for people. The problem that I am addressing is the shortage in nursing homes and the pressure on healthcare.

The solution

Ambience stands for ambience intelligence which is the use of sensory technology for health tracking and emergency aid. With ambience I want to offer an all around experience for seniors living independently or with family in our society. It starts with prevention which is accomplished with hardware upgrades around the home, then assisentance which I offer through the software that picks up all the data input from the sensors and detects when the person is in need of aid and finally assurance which is the feeling of safety I provide to the seniors who live in a home that gives them daily reports on their health, and reminders on how to improve their health.
