The challenge

Goal 9 of the sustainable development goals is to build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation. Emissions from construction account for around one-quarter of all carbon dioxide emissions. With increased urbanization and more construction, we require sustainable solutions for our transport infrastructure. One of the key issues to these emissions is the amount of oil used in the manufacturing of asphalt.

The solution

Our objective is to tackle two global issues: address the plastic waste crisis and improve the quality of asphalt used for road construction worldwide by providing plastic asphalt.
